Can you taste methonal in fruit flavored beer?

If my canned beer was tainted with methonal would I be able to taste it? It doesn’t really have a smell but tastes slightly different. I left it out of the fridge for 2 hours so I don’t know if it’s possible some of the natural methonal is now coming back into the beer. Should I be concerned?
