Wedding Booze Suggestions

Hello! Me and fiancé are getting married in fall of 2026. Neither of us drink for personal reasons, I have very little experience drinking, and my fiancé only ever really drank cheap beer or old-fashions (which I hear are awful from a can). A lot of our family still drinks, so I think it’s the best choice to offer a few options for those who do (about 100 guests total, this is a backyard wedding, all attendees 21+ so permits are not an issue where I live). I’m hoping that we can stick to getting a few crowd-pleasing choices, hoping for a 1-2 wines, 1-2 beer choices, one cider choice (probably angry orchard based on our families) and then 2-3 cocktails in a can. This way, we can get a case or bottle(s) of each and just throw them in a cooler (wine on the table) and let everyone ‘serve’ themselves.

I’m looking for recommendations for basic (not necessarily cheap, but rather crowd-pleasing) wines, beers and a canned cocktails that we can get to just have a variety for our guests without going overboard or picking items that won’t be touched. Our budget is still in works, so price isn’t a huge issue, but as we don’t really drink, I just want opinions from those who work with alcohol and know the top choices.
