I think my drink is poisoned?

So I’m sitting in my room drinking and watching tv while my partner sleeps. I only drink teas and half and half’s, since I hate carbonation. I opened an American Vintage iced tea and it sprayed all over the place like a beer or carbonated drink would. Why would it do this? I’ve never had a non-carbonated beverage do this? I drank the foam off the top and put it down. I refuse to drink it unless I understand why this happened? Please give any information you can. Google is only giving AI answers. Thank you!
