Best Alcohol For Putting In Other Stuff?

Hey peeps! I bought a orange creamsicle drink, that had like no taste except “alcohol taste” (idk the right term), so I used to and threw it in a bunch of random shit, Coke, Juice, etc etc, and most of it was pretty good. So my question is, what alcohol should I get if I just wanna throw it into shit? Not making anything fancy, just wanna throw it into soda and whatnot. Sorry if this is a super beginner level question, I drink pretty rarely. Thank ya’l!
