First Time Drinking

The first time I tried straight vodka (it was literally just a sip) I was like 13 and my parents got something in an auction i think it was maybe the contents of an unpaid storage locker, but they brought home a box that had different alcohols in it including vodka. Me and my brother and some friends took the vodka and when i tasted it, I was so convinced that because it had already been opened, that the people it came from had dumped the vodka out and replaced it with rubbing alcohol. The only reason I came to that conclusion was because of it tasted and smelled just like rubbing alcohol and I didn’t know that it was normal. One of my friends was older and had tried it before so he was like no that’s just how it tastes😭But this makes me giggle looking back now as an adult bc why would my first thought be that they replaced it with rubbing alcohol to poison someone💀💀
