Just bought an 18oz flask, is this a mistake?

Just some quick context, the flask is not just for personal use. I am intending to use it for group events and go camping semi-frequently. Its not entirely supposed to be a discreet flask, just convenient when my friends and I don’t want to all blow budget on a night out or passing it around a campfire. Would a 10-12oz be more suitable?
