Just getting into whiskey and bourbon, gimme some recs !

I recently (past 6 months) have started drinking whiskeys and bourbons for the sake of enjoying the drink itself and not just the effects. I’ve tried things like four roses and bulleit bourbons and some whiskeys too. I would like some recommendations for delicious (yet not wallet breaking please) whiskeys, bourbons, and even cognacs and brandy’s.
