What tequila should I buy as a birthday gift?

Hey all, a friend of mines birthday is coming up and he’s going to be celebrating it on the same day as his girlfriends and they’re big margarita fans, so I was planning on getting them a bottle of tequila they could share. I’ve never bought tequila of any kind before as I’m not much of a margarita fan, so what would yall suggest? My budget would be up to $100, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
