Past year, everytime I drink heavily. I start hearing and seeing stuff. Does anyone else experience this

I never used to get this until this year but when I get too drunk, which is a very occasional occurrence nowadays as am a social drinker but do go a bit OTT. I started hearing what sounds like overlapping whispering, wild animals screeching and whirring engines in my ears. Visually shadows dart past like a cat running. These hallucinations start when it’s at ‘I’m going to vomit’ level. I used to be barely affected by alcohol but recently started messing me up in distressing ways at the end of the night. I got to the hotel bed last night and I felt paralysed listening to this whispering and screeching. Felt like it was going to last forever but I fell asleep quickly. Walking back to the hotel, the shadow things dart past, didn’t feel scary particularly just a wtf moment

This is all accompanied by tintius which I assume is from the vasodilation. Is this a shared experience? This is only happen last 12months. I do have other mental issues but I dont experience hallucinations on any sort of day to day basis so it’s definitely alcohol related.
