cheap but smooth vodka/tequila?

i need ideas, friday was my birthday but i had bills to pay so i’m left with not too much money left over until payday, i still want to celebrate a bit though. what are some cheap but smooth vodkas/tequilas y’all recommend? i’m typically a Lalo drinker but don’t really want to spend that much until i get paid again. it’s probably going to go into cocktails but i don’t have too much knowledge about decent liquor.
