How longer after taking my .5 Xanax is it safe to drink?

I had an hour drive out of town to see family and took my medicine (11:50am)an hour before driving because it always give me anxiety. Now that I’ve reached my destination and was going to go hangout downtown to grab a drink around 5. Am I good to have a drink or two?
