My Brother Waited Until 21 to Drink… Like a Legend or a Narc?

So my brother didn’t have his first drink until he turned 21. Not a sip. Not a “just one beer with the boys.” Nothing. Meanwhile, I was over here at 18 sipping on warm Natty Lite at someone’s questionable basement party because college movies made it look cool.

Our parents? Full-on anti-alcohol, anti-weed, anti-fun. I brought home a six-pack once and you’d think I committed war crimes. But my brother? Obeyed every rule like he was training for the Parental Olympics. Dude still uses coasters without being asked.

He finally had his first legal drink on his 21st, sipped it like a wine critic and said “mmm, notes of rebellion.” I almost cried.

Anyway, I respect the guy, but I still think he might be a Fed.

Anyone else have a sibling who waited till 21 like it was a sacred vow?
