When did this sub turn into Alcohol 101 for kids trying to sneak booze past their parents?

Once upon a time, this sub was full of majestic debates about peaty Scotch vs. smoky bourbon, mixology experiments gone deliciously wrong, and hangover stories that ended in life lessons (or at least a solid nap).

Now? It’s like:

“Will I die if I drink 2-week-old Smirnoff Ice I found in the garage?” “How many Fireballs does it take to forget my ex?” “Can I pour Gatorade into my dad’s whiskey bottle and he won’t notice??”

Y’all, what happened?! I came here to learn about barrel aging not how to commit light alcohol fraud with Capri Sun and a prayer.

Can we bring back the classy chaos? The old-school cocktail disasters? The wine-fueled existential crises?

Or at least someone teach these kids how to make a proper whiskey sour before they start snorting Jägerbombs through a Twizzler.
