Aviation American Gin (Deadpool Limited Edition)

Hey y’all. I just graduated from college and so we went to two bars, had some of my usual food and drinks. Got back home and tried some Aviation American Gin, which as far as I know is a celebrity gin. Celebrity endorsed/inspired drinks, they can be hit or miss:

Without knowing the cost of this, I say it’s decent. Very strong pine, corn, and hint of citrus flavor. Very similar burn to something like Blanton’s or Woodford, but those are whiskeys and not gins. The gin tastes good to me from straight shots, they say it’s only meant for gin+tonic but the strong flavors I described are pretty satisfying. I had these shots while slightly tispsy to borderline drunk, so there’s your disclaimer as sober tasting notes and drunk tasting notes can differ. Strong vodka, but with those flavor notes added.

I probably wouldn’t put a rating on this because this is the only straight gin that I’ve tried, but I’m pleasantly surprised. It isn’t bad, but the value perspective is another thing that can shift this.
