not a drinker at all, but going on a cruise, and am buzz-curious

I don’t drink alcohol. I just never developed a taste for it. The only alcohol I’ve found ‘tolerable’ in taste is the peach flavoured saki that my friends once got for me. Half a shot glass of the saki was enough to get me buzzed.

I’m about to go on a cruise soon. And I’m interested in getting buzzed on proper cruise style cocktails. It probably won’t take much alcohol to get the job done. In fact, I should probably take it slow, steady and easy to make sure I don’t embarrass myself.

Any suggestions of the types of alcohol that I should gravitate towards, and the spirits that I should definitely avoid?
