My younger cousin waited until 21 to drink honestly kind of impressed

I know a lot of people experiment before 21 I definitely did. I started drinking casually around 17 or 18, mostly at house parties or small hangouts. Nothing crazy, but it was definitely a part of growing up.

What’s interesting is my younger cousin just turned 21 and had his first drink that night. He had been around alcohol plenty, knew we all drank, and never once gave in to pressure. Said he wanted to wait and do it right.

It just stood out to me because I don’t think I had that level of self-control at that age. He’s super chill, not judgy or anything just chose to hold off.

Made me think about how common early drinking is and how rare it is to wait. Anyone else know someone who actually waited ‘til 21?
