Drinking for the first time.

Tomorrow I’m gonna drink for the first time. I don’t want to get super wasted but don’t want to look like a virgin as all my friends have done it for a pretty long time. They don’t know that this is my first time and I want to keep it that way. Could I pls get some tips on what to do before and after to get a better experience? Any help is appreciated.
