Did I Almost Get Alcohol Poisoning?

I was home alone, and I drank half a bottle of Bacardi, the 750ML one. It was 35%. That’s about 8-10 shots. I couldn’t walk and didn’t throw up but I really needed to however I fought the urge. I weigh 136 pounds. I was on my back, and passed out. I woke up five hours later still just as drunk. But now I’m thinking, what if I had to vomit in my sleep on my back and choked on it and died? It’s a scary thought but realistically was I actually close to that? Regardless I’ve learned my lesson.
