Why do I get more drunk drinking jack Danials as compared to other hard liquors like Smirnoff when I have only drank half the amount.

My usual go to is Smirnoff however, I recently started drinking Jack Daniels again, and I have gotten the same high from only half the consumption. (I have filled a bottle of Jack into this leftover bottle that I have left laying around.)
