What does a shot feel like?

I’m 18(F) and my friends are pregaming for prom. I’ve never had alcohol in my system before and I was planning on taking a shot for the first time. I am curvier than my friends (they’re all smaller than me) but they have a high tolerance to alcohol. I know because it’s my first time, that won’t be the case for me, but I was I wondering if you guys think I’ll feel anything after a shot (since I know body weight is a factor). I’m sure that would be hard to guess over the phone, so I’d at least like to know what it feels like after taking your first shot. My main priority is that I don’t get too drunk because my parents would probably be furious. My uncle is a doctor and he said I’d definitely feel something after one shot, but that’s not what I heard from other people… Let me know what you guys think 🙂
