i mixed a martini bianco. should it taste like… alcohol?

i used 2 1/2 oz roku gin and 1/2 oz martini bianco vermouth.

stirred with ice and put with 3 olives in a chilled glass.

is it supposed to taste like alcohol (dont know how to put it), did i sth wrong, or are my ingredients just trash?
