Been daily drinking for about two months.
As the title says. I’ve been drinking about 8-10 shots on average a night, I am 25 years old 6’3 290lbs and I’m pretty active between my job and life (I average about 20k steps in a day) and I am pretty healthy overall (besides weight obviously), but these last few months have been absolutely horrible between family members dying, job stress, financial stress and overall I am just burnt out mentally and physically, I also have anxiety and depression issues which I have noticed getting worse with all the stress and everything else going on so I started to cope with alcohol pretty heavy, primarily 80 proof whiskey, and I’ve noticed a dramatic decrease in energy levels, I’ve noticed it impacting my sleep and just my overall mood and I am really trying to quit/cut back. Have I been daily drinking long enough that I risk health complications if I quit cold turkey? Because I can’t afford to detox at the hospital and this shit needs to go. I’m sick of it. And advice/help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks yall! Should also add I only drink at night before bed, never during the day.
