Why do you drink vodka?

I love vodka — it’s my drink of choice. However, I feel like something is missing from the vodka industry. We have premium vodka (out of my price range and I don’t care how much it’s distilled), cheap vodka (Smirnoff, new am, svedka), and then there is this middle ground that is totally over saturated. Why do you drink vodka, and what makes you buy certain brands?
