Does boozing alone really means that you’re lonely?

I had a beer in my fridge. Yesterday, i dimmed the lights, played soft music and had the beer. It was such a calming me-time. I loved the vibe and feeling. I plan to do it more often now. But I heard some people including my friends sometimes say “I’m not that lonely to booze alone”.

Is that true? If I’m boozing alone, does that mean I’m lonely. It’s not like i don’t have anyone to booze with, but I just love my vibe.
