Does whiskey give anyone else acid reflux sometimes?

So I don’t drink a ton. I like some whiskeys occasionally, but I’ve gotten some heartburn from it before, especially with stronger Bourbons. I haven’t noticed this with rum. Maybe I’d do better with Brandy? Never tried it but I don’t really like wine.
