How many beers would you say is a good limit for any night?

I generally will limit to 3 tall cans so about 4 beers worth is enough for nights I’d like to drink. But only maybe once or twice per week, drinking that much on every night would be a bit excessive.

There’s other times where I can have like 12 beers (9 tall cans) and it’s way too much, I don’t have a very good impulse control.

Would it also depend on any holidays or family related events where you might have more? Like Christmas or a birthday?
