“Hangxiety” is becoming a misused term

I’ve been getting irked recently by people using this term wrong. Hangxiety to me is literal generalized anxiety that occurs the day after drinking that can be directed towards anything. For some reason in the last couple of years people have started using this term in the context of describing anxious thoughts they have about bad decisions they made drinking the night before. Hangxiety can induce anxiety about your decisions the night before but this really only scratches the service of anxiety that can come with a bad hangover. And for reference I’m not diagnosed with anxiety nor do I have it normally but it’s a very common hangover symptom I get after heavy drinking nights.
