How to get drunk

I recently realised I’m not getting drunk when I’m drinking, I’m barely tipsy. Shared a 750ml bottle of 40% abv Whiskey, drank it mostly neat, nothing happened. Had 60 ml vodka and a shot yesterday still nothing. Please help, I don’t want to spend a ton of money to get drunk. I don’t know if this is the right sub
