Found This in an Old Cupboard: Aged Johnnie Walker from ‘98-‘99!
So, I was cleaning out an old cupboard that had some termite damage, and I stumbled upon this bottle of Johnnie Walker. It was originally purchased around 1998-1999 and is aged for 12 years, which means this whisky has now been sitting around for about 26-27 years in total!
I’m curious, does extra time in a sealed bottle change anything about the whisky? Or is it just cool for nostalgia’s sake? Any whisky enthusiasts out there with thoughts on this?
