Why does alcohol make me blackout so easily?

I used to be able to drink so much and not blackout just be really drunk until like a year ago (I’m 19) where I blacked out once and since then always blackout everytime I drink, like I used to be able to drink so much and just be smashed until now, is there a reason? Like once u blackout once you always will ahahha
