Looking for a nice bottle of liquor that doesn’t have ANY notes of vanilla. Willing to spend up to $100 but hope to stay under $70.

I’m the weirdo that hates vanilla anything. Every liquor I have tried that was aged in a barrel tastes like vanilla extract to me. If there is the faintest hint of vanilla in anything, I am extremely repulsed.

With that being said, I want to buy a nice bottle for my birthday. I have rarely spent more than $50 on a bottle before, and the few times I have done that I have been disappointed, typically because I bought something that ended up having vanilla in it.

I feel like I will end up buying either a bottle of Gin or Tequila Blanco, but am very open to other types of liquor. I have never had a dark liquor that I liked, but if there are any with no traces of vanilla I’m open to the idea.
