Cheeks flush randomly?

I drink a lot through my days off. My cheeks never flush but every once in a while, I get really red flushed cheeks when I drink. What could this be contributed to? It freaks me out a little that sometimes my face is normal toned and sometimes I look like I’m having an allergic reaction? I usually drink gin and nothing else.
