Cheap spirits?

Hey guys what’s the cheapest bottle of spirits you can get in aus? I’m making herbal tinctures with it so I’m not fussed if it’s really nasty. I’m trying to find 40%/50% (80/100 proof) and it’s all an absolute ripoff. Whether it’s gin/tequila/vodka/whiskey all the 40% bottles start at $38. I used to get Jameson/Johnny Black for that not long ago.

In the US I’ve found a vodka called Kharkov, which is a 700ml 40% bottle for around $15! Is there anything like that here? I’ve checked the supermarkets/dan murphies/byo etc and it’s all the same crap. 700ml bottles range from $38-$50, and that’s for all the crap like smirnoff/ruskov/johnny red etc.
