Can I have liquid tylenol after/before alcohol?

I am in my early 20s but I don’t take medicine pills- just liquid tylenol. I am on my period so I am afraid I may have to take tylenol for the cramps however I am planning on drinking later (just a few shots). Is it wise to have both of these in one day? And how many hours in between is safe for the liver?
