Is this a sign of intolerance/allergy?

When I drink, it feels like the air I am breathing in isn’t enough, I feel like I have to take deeper breaths. It’s not like I am choking but it’s mildly uncomfortable.

Would antihistamines counteract this “side effect” of alcohol?
