allergic to most alcohol but not hefeweizen?

I’ve had many allergic reactions to alcohol… hives from red wine, throat tightening with chocolate liquor… often I’ll need to go to the bathroom within 10-minutes to pee, and then I’ll have a pretty strong headache soon after… But it seems like I don’t have a reaction to hefeweizens. I don’t know enough about different kinds of alcohol to understand the differences enough to be able to distinguish why hefeweizens seem to be okay. Any thoughts on how to figure what alcohols work with my body, and what other drinks are similar to hefeweizens that might work for me?
