Hydrocodone and Alcohol?

Hi everyone. I’m on hydrocodone 7.5 due to chronic pain. I took some today and forgot that I have a party tomorrow night. I don’t usually drink, but I was planning to let loose a little lmao. Online it says it’s good to wait 24 hours after opioid usage to consume alcohol, but I want to know what you guys think. I took it at about 1 am, and my party starts at 8 pm tonight. Should I avoid drinking altogether, or is 19 hours enough time in between?
