Why doesn’t my high feel like everyone else’s?

Every time I get high, even just one hit… I hate it. I think it’s going to be different this time.. but it’s not. My head hurts a lot, I’m uncomfortable, I’m not paranoid or scared or anything. It just makes my head hurt and I can’t sleep. Does this happen to anyone else?
