Turning 21. Would like recommendations

Hey. Title is self explanatory. I’ll be 21 in under a month. Most I’ve ever had in a sitting has been 2 coors banquets. And that account for about 99% of what I’ve drank ever. I don’t care to get drunk. And I don’t care to seem cool in front of friends. I have good friends who like me for me. But I like the idea of having a drink to have an expirience with those friends. Much like someone would have a cigar with friends. One of those friends said he’s gonna get me a bottle of whiskey for my birthday. So there’s that. But outside of that. What would you recommend I try. Thanks.
