weird dreams after drinking?

anytime i drink enough to get solidly tipsy (or drunk, but i rarely get drunk i usually just stop at tipsy) i have insane dreams. like full on terrifying nightmares. when im sober i either don’t remember my dreams or they’re pretty tame, but anytime i have any alcohol my dreams feel like im in the fucking twilight zone and they’re never positive. anyone else experience this too or do i just have some sort of undiagnosed mental issue 💀
