Could 3 drops of an alcohol make an alcoholic relapse?

Hey, so for some context… I make a lot of medicinal teas. And I helped a recovering alcoholic with a cold he had… with a certain tea. You cannot believe in medicine like this. That’s more than fine, just wanna know if it would set him back.

He’s recently been begging for more of that tea. But the issue is… plant is out of season, I have no dried leaves left. I do however have the tincture which is in ever clear. It would take 3 drops from an eye dropper and added to 16 OZ of a tea of his choice. Could this cause him to relapse?

I haven’t told him anything yet, I just said I’d get back to him. But I don’t want to mess up his 8 months of sobriety. I can tell him I have the tincture but I feel like that’s insensitive.
