Is Bacardi Superior / Carta Blanca actually good?

Hi! I’m going to estonia tomorrow and found a 3 liter bottle of bacardi superior there for 80€. I thought i’d buy this since alcohol here in finland is unnecessarily expensive and i’d like to take home a big cheap bottle of alcohol.

Problem is, i’ve never had bacardi or any white rum (except something like malibu). I saw some very mixed reviews on the internet. I’m the kind of guy that loves buying vodka and mixing in a bunch of cold sprite or fanta. Rarely do i ever buy whiskey or the sorts and sip it neat. Would i like bacardi? What is the actual consensus on this brand and drink?
