Alcohol makes you feel like a kid again

When you are a kid you you speak your mind instead of worrying about judgement from others. You are outwardly focused and spend less time thinking of yourself and your own identity. Kids are often more talkative and assertive in conversation. Kids will often approach people and start conversing without any fear of judgement even bringing up random irrelevant topics to strangers. This assertiveness and lack of fear of judgement can result in obnoxiousness as well. Kids are also generally more happy than us unfortunately. Alcohol brings out this same type of energy that kids have. Alcohol makes you confident, happy, less focused on yourself, and assertive which can cause drunk people to be obnoxious as well. Drunk people also are more likely to do fun, spontaneous and creative stuff (which can sometimes lead to bad decisions😬) like kids do. Alcohol let’s adults escape from the hardships of life and adulthood to be a kid again even if just for a night. That’s the beauty of alcohol imo and the reason it’s so popular.
