Just wondering, does alcohol give you a lazy/cross eye even when you’re not drinking?

I am sadly drinking a LOT of alcohol 3-4 times a week. Have been cutting down to twice a week but my brother has been flaming me for looking funny with “cross eyes” and throughout the day I have to blink my right eye hard asf (it feels like it dries out and could be a lazy eye or some shit. (I hope not, calling my eye doctor I’ve never had these problems b4. I really hope I don’t have a cross/lazy eye thing going on but my brother is swearing it’s from drinking.
