Why Don’t I Get Drunk?

For context, I don’t drink until this two weeks ago. So I don’t have tolerance to alcohol because I’ve never drank before. But recently, I’ve been drinking with friends and I notice I don’t get drunk.

Tonight, for example, I had a cocktail, a margarita, and a shot and a beer, after my friends and I went bar hopping. But I’m not drunk and I’m not feeling any side effects. Why is this the case? I know people who are seasoned drinker develop alcohol tolerance, but I can’t be because I’m new to drinking.

Is there something wring with me?
