Face burns after one sip of alcohol

After one sip of alcohol my whole face turns bright red and burns intensely. This started after I had my first drink post partum after my son was born – never experience it before then (I’m 35). I’m not Asian so I don’t think it’s the facial flush thing that is common with Asians. What does this mean?
