Can vodka go bad if it’s kept in room temperature for a long time?

I just got a 2020 bottle of Russian standard from a friend (sealed) he used to keep it on roomtemp in kitchen which is relatively hot for more than a year. Can it go bad .can the ethanol convert to methanol or something ( I am new to alchohol and I have read about methanol poisoning and people going blind after drinking it ) pls reply
