Extremely high tolerance but never drank

A few days back i drank for the first time and barely got drunk off of six shots of vodka/whiskey so on the next day i drank 2 shots of everclear and only got a buzz even though online it said that thats enough for a normal person to get dangerously drunk. I come from a bloodline of alcoholics so is this normal
