Picot + Alcohol

I love a night of drinking with my friends but alcohol has always been the number one cause of heartburn for me. I recently got a thing of picot packets as it was the cheapest anti acid that was with all the Tums and stuff. Is it safe to take when drinking and could I even mix it into my drink?
