is 8 shots excessive for me?

i’m a 21 year old female that weighs 105 lbs and i’m 5’2. i don’t normally drink but those 8 tequila shots i downed within 2 hours really took me out. i woke up nauseous and i vomited. is 8 shots really all that much? at the time it didn’t seem like a lot but i’m realizing now that it was probably excessive due to how sick and icky i feel.
